Consumers often find themselves under the wrong impression, naturally thinking that they have an unquestionable legal right to a refund. Depending on the state where a purchase takes place, the refund laws for consumer may vary - but the general truth of the law is that consumers do not always have a right to a refund. Across the United States, there is one situation where a "refund" must technically be granted. That is in the case of a door-to-door salesman or other sale that is made directly within a home.
